Mancala Rules: The game board consists of two rows, with each player owning six cups or holes and a larger cup called the mancala zone. At the start of the game, each cup contains four stones or pieces.

Players take turns placing stones counterclockwise. To begin, a player picks up the stones from any cup on their side of the board, leaving that cup empty. The player distributes the stones across all twelve cups, including their mancala zone (on the right side of the board), but not the opponent's reservoir (on the left side of the board).

Go-Again Play: If the last stone lands in your reservoir, you earn an extra turn to make another move.

Cross-Capture: If the last stone lands in an empty cup on your side of the board and there are stones in the adjacent cup on your opponent's side, you capture both your opponent's stones and your own last one.

End of the Game: The game ends when all six cups on one side of the board are emptied. The player with more captured pieces in their mancala zone is declared the winner.

Different Names of Mancala Games: Mancala games have various rules and names within the same group. Some of the most popular ones include:

• Mancala Bao: A complex strategy game played in Kenya, Zanzibar, Tanzania, Comoros, Malawi, and certain areas of Burundi. The board size is 4x8.
